The small party hall is well maintained and works for small parties. The area is very busy, though, and booking cabs is difficult because the roads are narrow. They also need to keep the washroom cleaner.

I needed a budget room in Bangalore at short notice, and Hotel City Meridian worked well. The rooms are basic but clean, with all the essentials, and the staff are polite and quick to respond. The price is reasonable for budget travelers. A comfortable enough option for a short visit.

Hot water was always available, room service was good, and check-in and checkout were available 24 hours. But the location in Chikpete is surrounded by dirt and garbage on nearly every street corner. Cabs can't reach the hotel entrance because the roads are so narrow that they're only suitable for two-wheelers, so they drop you at least 200m away. The Wi-Fi was weak and unstable, not suitable for working from the hotel. Several rooms have some issue or another, maybe with water or plugs. Average hotel.

A budget friendly stay, with rooms that were well maintained and bathrooms that were okay. My stay was satisfactory.

They took 1500 from me, then said there was no room and they'd refund only 150 ruppees. They ask for cash so there's no payment evidence. This is fraud, asking for money and then not providing a room. Very bad service.
