Hotel Grand Suites

The restaurant food was good, and the rooms were clean and tidy. It's close to a prime locality. Service could be better, though. Some things you'd expect as standard in a 3-star hotel, like water in the room or fresh bed spreads, only happen if you ask.

Service was awful. We had a conference, and even after reminding them several times, the tea and snacks took over an hour. The rooms weren't properly cleaned, the food was very oily, and the restrooms were dirty and short on soap and tissues. One toilet didn't even have a seat, and the water taps weren't working properly. Worst place to visit.

The hall is spacious and has windows with a lovely view around it, with plenty of room at the front. It can fit a gathering of 300-450. We booked it for a three-hour event. The management sometimes has booking issues, including booking two events at the same time.

Good food and arrangements in the party hall, which is available for groups of 30 or more. The ground-floor restaurant is good too, and the staff are kind. Their dish recommendation was great. The location is good and parking is available.
