I paid nearly INR 9k for a six-day booking, but left after just one night, despite having four bags with me. The room beside the front desk felt like it wasn't meant for guests: the TV was broken, the window stayed open, the floor was oily and dirty, and there were no toiletries. They wouldn't move me or acknowledge the problems, and now refuse to refund me. When I arrived on the afternoon of 4/24, the lobby was completely dark and two boys were at reception. They said no room was ready because the previous guest would check out at 7 pm. Why take a booking if there's no room? Absolutely disgusting experience. Do yourself a favor and get an Airbnb, where at least the owners take responsibility. Stay away from hotels and owners like this.

Cockroaches were running around on the bed as soon as I walked in, and the toilet was so dirty I had to ask staff for another room. I paid 1010 for one night, but this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. I usually book AirBnb for a weekend break from everyday stress, but tried Oyo this time because I'd heard it was cheaper. I'm never coming back here.

The location made it easy to explore the area, and my room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The owner, Jamil, was very welcoming, and the manager was always available and did more than expected to keep us comfortable. At hotel phoenix, that personal attention made it feel like a home away from home. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

When I told reception there were lots of cockroaches in my room, they showed me two more rooms, and both were full of them too. The person at reception said the insects were on the floor, so I could sleep on the mattress since there weren't any there. Worst experience of my life.

There are insects all over these filthy, pathetic rooms. I couldn't find a single room decent enough to stay in.
