Hotel O Pride Inn

I stayed for two weeks, but got no special treatment. The room wasn’t clean, and the staff were rude. A really bad experience 😕😕😕😕

The hotel advertised facilities that weren’t available or working, including a gym that was just a small room without proper equipment. The Wi-Fi barely worked and kept disconnecting. When I asked the front desk for help with it or a better room, the staff shrugged and made no effort to fix anything. The room looked nothing like the photos. It was dark, cramped, and outdated, and the slow check-in was frustrating. Staff seemed uninterested in helping from the start. The bathroom had broken tiles and a barely working shower, with poor pressure and temperature I had to keep adjusting. The bed was uncomfortable, and hallway noise kept waking me. The walls seemed so thin I could hear voices, footsteps, and doors slamming. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this stay made me feel I had to. It seemed clear the hotel didn’t care about guests. I wouldn’t recommend it or return.

I was backpacking and visiting Bangalore for work, and booked through Agoda because the price was affordable and the online photos looked decent. I want to acknowledge the effort involved in managing a property, but my stay was disappointing from the moment I arrived. The first room was below standard, so I offered to pay extra for a deluxe upgrade. The replacement was in almost the same condition: stained sheets, a broken door lock, and a bathroom with a leaking toilet. No staff were available to deal with it. Outside, the area felt unsafe and smelled bad, with garbage everywhere. Cockroaches were all over the room, including on the bed. It was the worst accommodation experience I’ve had, and I strongly advise against staying here.
