Economic Times Kannada recently organized a program here and arranged a very good meal. I enjoyed the food a lot, and the hotel staff were good and cooperative.

The rooms are bigger than average, but the hotel doesn't provide facilities at the level of a 2* hotel, so I wouldn't recommend it. There isn't a good restaurant around, and the food and breakfast here are very costly and cheap in quality. Room charges at Hotel Capitol / Paraag are far higher than at nearby hotels. There was no warm water in the bathroom, and the room wouldn't cool down even with the central AC running all day at high fan speed and 20c. There's no fan in the room, and no split ac fitted.

I remember this place from years ago, when it had an open area serving liquor. It's a modern building now. The conference facilities are good, though parking is an issue.

We booked the meeting hall and accommodation for two days, with three meals on Day 1 and two on Day 2. On the second day, they moved us from the large hall into a much smaller one without telling us, because they'd rented our original hall to another event. The food was very poor and the hospitality unsatisfactory. The service was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this place for residential events lasting more than a day.
