The staff were polite and quick to respond when anything came up, and housekeeping came daily. I stayed for a month and found the place clean, with 24/7 hot water. It's close to Yeshwantpur Railway Station, and there's a pure vegetarian restaurant downstairs. The room was decent, and monthly rent was around, though the amount isn't stated. I felt it was private and safe for solo travelers, families, or friends, and convenient for short or long stays.

The hotel under the lounge wasn't good. Staff behavior was poor, and an order that was supposed to take 10 minutes took around 45.

We paid 150rs for pulav, but when it had run out, they started making North Indian palav using poori oil. We only questioned the quality, and they tried to threaten us. Their behavior was so rude that even one star feels wasted. I'd give zero if Google allowed it.

It's one of the cheapest places for visitors, and food is easy to get since the ground floor is a restaurant. They serve North Indian, Chinese, and South Indian dishes. South Indian tradition is charming and beautiful, really lovely to see.

The food at the hotel was excellent, but the reception staff were the rudest I've seen, arrogant, careless, and insulting. They argued with us, and the room didn't even have a bedcover or pillow. I wouldn't go to Udupi hotal room. The hotel should be ashamed of its hospitality.
