Lake Habitat Serviced Apartments

The kids were picky, but they loved breakfast, and there was enough choice for all of us. It isn't a full restaurant, but it did the job. We stayed three days last month, the four of us, and really enjoyed it. The apartment was clean and well cared for, and nobody bothered us unnecessarily. Since our children are young, having an apartment instead of one hotel room suited us better, and the location worked for what we needed. We'd used service apartments elsewhere in the world and weren't sure what to expect in Bangalore, but we were pleasantly surprised and would come back.

I’ve stayed in other pretty good places, but this one gets five stars from me for the lake view. I woke up and that was the first thing I saw. The staff were good, and the food was decent for what I paid. Keep it up.

Our spacious, airy apartment had a lovely lake view, and the room and drawing room were both good. The bathroom was very clean, had towels, soap, and shampoo, and was cleaned daily. The AC worked great. We had no complaints about the room. They offer both rooms and studio apartments, with the apartment rooms suited to families or larger groups. I noticed quite a few foreign guests too, probably because the location is so good. The location was the main draw for my business trip to a meeting near MG Road. The apartment is right by Ulsoor Lake, next to Tamil Sangam and Photo Flash. MG Road and Commercial Street are 2-5 minutes away by auto. It was easy to reach from the airport, about 40 km by Uber or Ola, for around Rs.800. In the morning, a walk along the Ulsoor Lake jogging path in the mist was refreshing, then we’d have coffee at Shanti Sagar or Costa Coffee. Urban Solace is right outside and has great continental food. Shanti Sagar, Costa Coffee Carnival de Goa, and lakeview super market are a minute away, and Lake view Hospital is around the corner. There are restaurants, a pharmacy, and transport nearby, pretty much what a visitor needs. Booking directly was easy, and they gave us one of the most competitive rates we’d seen on other websites. Breakfast was good for both taste and variety, and room service was available with South Indian breakfast options. Chocolate junction is less than a minute away, handy for picking up chocolates to take back to friends and family. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the watchman helped us get autos when we needed them. For the price and location, I’d definitely return.
