The breakfast had a nice selection and tasted good, and the staff were polite and helpful. My room was clean, spacious, and well looked after, with the hotel having a classy, comfortable feel. Service slowed down during busy periods, and some parts of the property seemed a bit dated. Still, I found my stay relaxing and comfortable. It could suit business or leisure, though there is room to improve.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the options changed each day during our week-long stay. Sanjeev, Rahid and Dipam looked after us and were a wonderful team, always attending to what we needed. We'll be back.

The two things that worked well were the housekeeping, which cleaned our rooms properly, and the hotel car drop-off to the airport included in our package. That's why I gave it three stars. Otherwise, I would have given one. We regretted not choosing our regular 3 star hotel, where we'd had a much better experience. We won't return or recommend this place. The food was satisfactory, but the rest felt mediocre and nowhere near 5 star quality. The hotel seemed old and poorly maintained, with too few staff and nothing to do beyond two restaurants, a bar, and a swimming pool with an eating area. The rooms looked old and unwelcoming despite being clean, and the carpets were worn and frayed. The room lighting was depressing, with attention going to odd chandeliers instead of practical things. We had to ask for fresh towels every day. At the rates we paid, we shouldn't have had to keep reminding them. There was an ironing board but no iron. They brought one after we asked, then took it away, so we had to request it again the next day. It made me wonder if the supposedly 5 star hotel had just one iron being passed around. The card key kept failing at the room door, and we had to struggle with it several times before getting in. It didn't work in the elevator either. The bathroom sink was badly shaped, with a short tap at the edge that splashed water everywhere even while brushing our teeth.

I've been here for 12 days and am really enjoying the stay. Everyone has been very helpful and the service is top-notch. Reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant staff are always around when needed. Manisha Gobin, Subhashis, and the whole housekeeping team have been especially helpful.
