I've booked Oyo plenty of times before, across my two accounts, one for personal stays and one for work, and I've never had a room this dirty. The floors were sticky and uncomfortable, and there was dust and fungai everywhere, even on the TV, bed Fame, and curtains. I'm very allergic to dust, and it kept me from getting a good night's sleep. The bathroom was the dirtiest I've ever seen. Honestly, public toilets are cleaner, and I avoided using it as much as I could. I'd prebooked and paid for breakfast, but when I asked them to bring it upstairs because I was in a hurry, they wanted Rs210 as a room service charge just to bring it from the ground floor to the first. I asked for two coffees instead, and they said the room service charge would be Rs210 per coffee. I was furious and left without breakfast. They also charged Rs37 for water bottles marked Rs20. I paid what they asked and left. Please don't trust the pictures. The room was nothing like the OYO app photos, just dirty and smelly. I want Oyo to look into this urgently. People see the Oyo brand and expect clean rooms.

The restaurant food was delicious, room service was fast, and the staff were very friendly, especially the receptionist. But the room was totally disgusting. The bed was uncomfortable, with metal parts sticking out that made noise whenever we moved. The sheets weren't clean, the white fabric had turned yellowish and was stained. The bathroom was the worst part. The tiles were dirty, the closet was disgusting with zero cstains, and the wash basin was broken and very dirty. There were shampoo packets left by previous guests. It didn't seem like the room had been cleaned or sanitized between checkouts. I booked one night for my mother and me, and had a terrible experience.

I was there for five nights in a budget room, while some renovation work was happening. The owner eventually lent me his SIM to fix the internet, and management also called the provider on the fourth day. I struggled with the connection for four days, though, and didn't like the washroom either. Maybe it was just bad luck. I hope the next trip is better.

The breakfast restaurant needs a lot of work. Starting service at 8am is late for a temple city, and both the food quality and plated service need improvement. The coffee and tea are good, though. There isn't a kettle or other drink-making amenities in the room. It's a newly built property with clean rooms, some of which connect, and the rooms are spacious. It serves its purpose in a temple town, though it's on a narrow road with limited car parking. Fine for a short stay of a day or two.
