Octave Hotel & Spa JP Nagar

We paid more than 3500 for two rooms for six guests, three in each, but there wasn't space for a third person. We had checked in to freshen up before a wedding with my cousins and aunt. The rooms were tiny, dirty, smelly, and had horrible toilets. The AC didn't work, the beds were filthy, and we even found used condoms on one of them. Absolutely not recommended for families. This place is only good for drunkards, nasty people, and dirty activities. Not even worth one star.

When I called about the issues, staff told me to contact customer care but gave no number, saying I should find it where I booked. I called the number on the booking site and the same person kept answering, saying they couldn't help. I booked Octave Hotel JP Nagar online based on the listed TV, kettle, clean room, room service, and drinking water, but none of those were provided. No one was at reception around 1 PM for check-in, which caused delay and confusion. The room didn't match the listing, wasn't clean enough, and had no TV, kettle, or drinking water. The whole experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it. If you expect the room shown online, you'll be disappointed.

We arrived to check in at 5:50 a.m., but the sleepy staff member did something in the system and then said all bookings would refresh at 6 a.m. and ours had been cancelled. Goibibo still showed the booking as active. With no other option, we booked directly, and the earlier booking disappeared without any refund being assured. It felt like a scam. The room was dirty and the bathroom untidy, and the staff were awful. Worst experience, hospitality, staff, and room. The name sounds fancy, but everything else is so low grade.

For a stay in JP Nagar, Bangalore, this hotel is budget friendly and I recommend it. Sir Tyag Raj was especially helpful, and my overall experience was good.
