Octave Hotel & Spa Marathahalli

I didn't want to stay and checked out, but the man shamelessly refused to give me a refund. The rooms were the dirtiest I've ever seen. Nothing was clean, not the bed, room, or stairs, despite the place being described as a three-star hotel. If I could, I'd give it less than one star, more like a minus 100.

The location is convenient for reaching offices in Prestige Park and the nearby bus stop. Rooms were clean, though the executive rooms were only average. Cockroaches were in the tables, cupboards, and washrooms. There was no breakfast, lunch, or dinner service, and no hot water for bathing. A sudden power cut forced us to change rooms. The online photos of the hotel and rooms didn't match the actual stay. Security felt risky, which was concerning, and overall it was an average experience that wasn't good for a family.

For 2,000 a day, I expected a lot more. The room had a bad feel, the TV didn’t work, the AC was in very poor condition, and the mattress wasn’t nice either. Other hotels at that price can offer a better atmosphere, Wi-Fi and basics like hot water, TV and AC. I really can’t recommend this place.

The manager was quick to answer calls and helpful, and the room came with clean linen, a kettle and proper hot water. It’s also right by Prestige Tech park, just across the overhead bridge, so getting to the office without the rush-hour traffic was easy. Some furniture, fixtures and the bathroom need renovation soon, though. I stayed six days in December 2025 and was happy with it as a budget option.
