OYO 2388 Hebbal

The hotel is tucked into a residential colony, away from the city rush, and the staff were all very good. It’s an older place, but they’ve kept it in good shape. Getting there by public transport is the hard part: you may need to walk nearly 2 kilometres, or find a rickshaw or cab.

I’d booked online three days ahead, but when I arrived, the hotel representative said every room was full and refused to accommodate me. They even left me standing outside the gate at 04:00 am, despite my requests to be let in. I was told to contact the booking agency for a refund. Extremely bad experience with the management. Nice way to treat guests! 😏

The tea was good, though I can’t say the same for the coffee. The room itself was average, and the staff were nice, but hot water never came in the morning even after I asked repeatedly. We ended up bathing with cold water so we wouldn’t be delayed any further.

The food was good, and the rooms were hygienic and suitable for a low budget. The geyser didn’t work properly, though, so that’s why I’ve rated it four stars.
