OYO 24850 Stay Zone

I'd avoid this for a family stay. The corridor smelled strongly of smoke, and the rooms weren't clean. We booked for two days, but they didn't clean the room the second day. After several requests, they only changed the bedsheets. Breakfast wasn't worth even 10 Rupees. They gave some variety rice just for the sake of calling it breakfast, and that was in the morning; the next day it was two slices of bread.

The staff were good, especially Vishal and Madam, and the stay itself was good. The room needs more cleaning, though. Complimentary breakfast was only in name: I had to keep calling to get it, and across six days I received breakfast on just three.

It's a clean, quiet hotel, especially suited to solo travelers on company trips. There's no lift, which can be a problem for older people. Getting around is easy, with the market, bus stand, auto rickshaws, and other transport nearby. There are nice restaurants around too, including places with different idli options and a biryani house next door.

I've never had such a bad experience anywhere. We arrived and were told our stay had been canceled because we had a bull booking. Why cancel without telling us? If you'd informed us earlier, we could have paid to secure it.
