OYO Townhouse 180 Jayanagar

I stayed with my family for just one day, and it was a pathetic experience. None of the rooms had working AC, and nobody told us that when we booked. The rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and the bathrooms weren’t maintained. After I asked reception several times, they finally brought room spray and used it. The bed was shaky, and there was no room service. There wasn’t a restaurant nearby, and even coffee wasn’t available, despite being told before booking that all facilities were available.

For what I paid, I expected much better. The room at hotel sant regency was dirty and dated, with stained carpets and worn furniture. It smelled bad and was full of cockroachs and bugs. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, and noise from adjacent rooms was unbearable. The service was another letdown. Our requests for extra towels and toiletries were ignored, and the front desk staff didn’t seem interested in helping. I wouldn’t recommend it.

After a full day of back-to-back meetings, we were exhausted and hungry, but still had to travel 6 kilometers through horrible Bangalore traffic to get to Sand Residency (Super Townhouse). I’d booked through OYO and paid ₹1300 online. At the hotel, they said they had NO TIE-UP with OYO. They laughed it off, told us to cancel, and demanded another ₹1600 for a room. It was pay again or sleep on the road. OYO had listed the hotel without, it seems, verifying it, and the hotel was taking advantage of travelers left with no options. OYO customer care wouldn’t pick up or respond, leaving us stranded outside, tired and helpless. We felt cheated, humiliated, and abandoned. Worst hotel experience of my life. They ruined our trip, energy, and peace of mind. Don’t book this hotel or trust OYO.

We trusted OYO when we booked Sand Residency (Super Townhouse) and paid ₹1300 online. After a long day of work and meetings, we travelled 6 kms through Bangalore’s worst traffic with our luggage, only to hear that the hotel didn’t accept OYO bookings. The rude staff said they had “no connection with OYO” and told us to cancel if we wanted a room, we’d have to pay ₹1600 again. No explanation or sympathy. OYO support didn’t answer our calls, and we got no help or refund. We were stranded in an unfamiliar area, exhausted and frustrated. The whole thing felt like a cheap trap to loot customers. This felt like harassment, mental torture, and daylight fraud. We won’t trust OYO again. Don’t book this place or any OYO hotel, they ruined our day.
