Prestige Stay Inn by OYO

The room was roomy, with a big bed that fit two adults and two children. It was clean, the bathroom was tidy, the AC worked well, and hot water was available around the clock. Service was good, and parking for more than eight cars was available. There's also a vegetarian restaurant on the fourth floor. It was a little expensive, but the food was very good. The main drawback was the older lift, which sometimes struggled with four people or luggage. The location was another downside.

For my solo work trip, I stayed three days while visiting BIEC. Starting around 9 to 9:30 in the morning, the trip there took at most 30 to 45 minutes. The hotel is compact, with well-kept, spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. I think it has more than 20 rooms. The vegetarian restaurant on the fourth floor was good and very busy. Each day, the two managers arranged breakfast and came around to tell guests in person; there was something different each of my three mornings. The cooks and other breakfast staff were also very helpful. Parking is available in the stilt area. They do a lot with a limited staff, and their effort deserves appreciation. It's a pretty good, affordable choice for business or family travelers.

The rooms were okay, but the food selection was very limited. Service was the real problem. After meals came to the room, we had to ask for plates, then bowls, spoons, and glasses. Soap and towels weren't replenished, and I had to call about ten times to get a towel. On some days there wasn't any hot water for bathing. I've never had service this poor.

They didn't clean between guests, and soap was only provided when I asked. I found the honesty and transparency lacking, and there may have been bug bites. Why bother at all?
