Queen's Castle

It's a handy Bangalore base if you're here to see the city, with good spots such as Brigade road nearby. The rooms are well looked after, though service can be slow. Groups of 4-6 can have an enjoyable stay here.

We got food poisoning after eating food from the kitchen, so be careful with the water they provide. The place wasn't clean and there was no hygiene awareness. Ask for anything and the answer is a ready-made “NO.” The kitchen staff also do the cleaning. Bedspreads were unclean, and there was dust and rubbish all around the room. Staying at Queens castle was the worst experience.

The location, room, and everything else were good, but the staff service cost this place two stars. They seemed annoyed when we called the team to discuss or hold a meeting. If a meeting ran longer than they expected, they'd start causing a panic and act rudely. I'd only book here if I couldn't find anywhere else.

The peaceful location was the real plus, and it suited our group of couples well. The staff weren't as cooperative or pleasant as expected, and there was no in-house restaurant or other amenities. The room's fit and finish were average, and the bathroom was poor. For the price, it was an okay kind of stay.
