Hotel RR International

I spent one day in a standard non-AC room. The TV wasn't working, apparently because they hadn't recharged the TATA Sky. The bathroom taps were leaking badly, and even after I reported it, they weren't repaired. The room hadn't been cleaned properly either.

The location was the main reason this was a decent stay for me. Restaurants, shopping areas, Majestic Bus Stand, and the railway station are close, and you can walk to the bus stand or station if you have no luggage. I was there for two nights. The room was average and quite small, though acceptable for the price and location. Service was quick and polite, and the staff had good manners. My first night was peaceful, but on the second, housekeeping staff worked and talked loudly outside my room, disturbing my sleep. The same thing happened about a year ago, though I managed then, so having it happen again was irritating. The bathroom was moderately maintained. My TV recharge wasn't active, but reception sorted that quickly after I called. These are small issues that could improve the stay if fixed consistently. Nighttime noise control needs attention.

The rooms and shared areas were clean, and the available facilities were good. Management was friendly and handled things well. Service could still be improved, though.

I’d stayed here on my Bangalore visits before, but they’ve lost me as a customer now. I was charged ₹600 for just 1.5 extra hours, with no warning. They could have asked me to leave when my time was up instead of letting me stay and adding a fee at checkout. The cashier was rude and unprofessional. I can’t recommend this place.
