Sagar Niwas

The location worked well for us, close to Electronic City and easy to reach from the bus stand and metro stations. Restaurants are plentiful nearby and within walking distance. We spent two days at Sagar Niwas Homestay, and the caretaker was friendly, attentive, and ready to help. Drinking water was readily available. The bathrooms were clean and neatly maintained. The home had the essentials we needed, including a washing machine, cooking utensils, TV, and other useful household items. It was a comfortable and convenient stay, and would work well for a short visit or a longer one.

Pretty good overall, though the service could’ve been a bit better. They don’t provide cleaning for long-term stays. Since it was rainy season, we also got some unexpected guests, earthworms.

The owner, Mr. Anand, was rude and didn’t seem to care about questions or enquiries about the place. I understand there may be lots of demand and supply, but please communicate respectfully. You could have 40 properties to rent and still have no sense of how to speak to another person. If you’re thinking of renting here, God bless you if you run into any questions or problems during your stay and have to go to him 🙏🏻

The daily rent at balaji niwas was reasonable, and it was a good family place. The double bedroom was well maintained, peaceful for a rest, and there was car parking. One of us left a branded Jean and belt behind the bedroom door, worth about 4k. We called the next day, but the owner and caretaker said they’d disposed of them without telling us, despite both having our contact numbers. Check carefully before you leave. Anything left behind at checkout seems to be gone for good, they never return it.
