SPOT ON 41554 Hotel Sri Thirumala Paradise

Our room was spotless and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make it special. Major attractions were within walking distance, too.

The best thing for my short stay was the location, about 250 meters from Bangalore majestic railway station, an easy walk when you’re waiting for a train. That was why I stayed there after my booking at another hotel was dishonored and I had nowhere else to go. The rooms are small and shabby, and the cleaning wasn’t good. There’s no phone or bell to reach the staff, no restaurant, and no other facilities. It seemed like people were coming in for short stays. Since the price is low, I didn’t expect high quality, but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. It’s tolerable if you just need somewhere briefly before a train.

At checkout, they took my phone, asked for the code, scrolled through it, and clicked five stars without my permission before I realized what was happening. The rooms are dirty, damaged, poorly maintained, and so unhygienic I couldn’t stand staying even five minutes. The bedsheets were dirty, the covers torn, and the toilets were beyond words. The photos look like they’re from when the hotel was first built, because the current condition is completely dirty and badly damaged. The service was extremely poor, and it wasn’t worth the money. Oyo is getting worse. For a little more money, I’d choose a decent hotel for a good stay. I’d never choose this hotel again.

I couldn’t sleep at all that night. The room was full of bed bugs, and when I asked to change rooms, they argued with me and moved me to another one that had cockroaches and even more bed bugs. The room was completely allergenic and crawling with them. At checkout they refused to give me my proofs until I rated them, then argued and forced me to leave 4-5 stars. I didn’t have time to deal with these people. I called Oyo customer support twice, but they deliberately ignored the issue and customer care never responded. I think the whole Oyo team is involved in this rating issue.
