Sterlings Mac Hotel

The small things made our family stay especially comfortable, since we had an infant and often needed a hand. We spent five days here and had a wonderful time, with attentive staff and generous meals every day. My wife and I want to thank Tridhara, Madhu, Anupa, Bhavya, Nicky, Murali, Kritika, and Kisalay. The hotel was extremely noisy because it sits right on the main road, and several room basics were disappointing. The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly, so water spilled out, the weighing machine didn't work, and soaps and shampoo weren't replenished on time. I booked a day ahead, then realized within minutes that I needed to change the booking. Despite calling several times, the hotel refused and charged me for a day I didn't stay. After one night, they moved me to another room, saying a leak was affecting the room below. The move was badly managed, and I had to keep chasing them about my belongings. A very disappointing stay, and not what I'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Room numbers 405 and 415. Stayed from 17th to 22nd.

What stands out most from our stay at Sterling Mac Hotel in Bangalore is how the team supported us through a frightening time. Our father had a mild heart attack during the visit, and staff acted quickly and treated us with real care. Mr. Aiyappa (MOD) arrived right away, arranged for us to get to the hospital quickly, and stayed there until the procedure was over. Restaurant Manager Mr. Murali arranged special meals with the chef for our father throughout his hospital stay. He also visited and spoke to the doctor about an early discharge, given our plans to travel back to Malaysia. Mr. Suraj, the Manager on Duty, had handled our reservations smoothly before we arrived and continued helping us through the last day. We’re grateful to General Manager Mr. Singh too, who personally checked that we had what we needed and made us feel at home while things were stressful. We won't forget the compassion and professionalism the whole team showed. Highly recommend Sterling Mac Hotel in Bangalore.

The library's complimentary high tea was a great way to unwind after work, with different kinds of books to read. The location is handy too, next to Manipal Hospital and opposite Leela palace, which makes it good value. Our room was spacious and had the basics, including toiletries, an iron pad, and a bathrobe.
