The breakfast was a lovely way to start the day, with a great mix of local and international dishes. When I checked out, I left my bags with the concierge for a late flight. Someone called around 9 pm to remind me about them, which I appreciated, and I picked them up at about 9:30. This is a classic, long-established Taj hotel in a great part of Bengaluru. I’d wanted to stay here since my college days in the city, so finally doing it felt like checking off a bucket-list item. Check-in was quick, and the staff were warm and courteous. The room and bathroom both had plenty of space. I was heading straight out after getting ready and couldn’t find bathroom slippers. I called the “at your service number” twice but got no answer or call back. Luckily, a staff member arrived with a complimentary sweet and helped arrange the slippers. Later, I liked being able to open the curtains with a switch, and the toiletries felt very much in keeping with the Taj experience. I slept well after a late night out. The AC was comfortable, and I found pillows that suited me. I woke up a little dehydrated and realized the three glass water bottles provided weren’t quite enough, especially after making tea or coffee. This time “at your service” answered and promptly brought three more. The location and service made for a lovely stay. I just wish the things meant to be in the room weren’t missed in the first place. I’d still recommend trying the hotel for its Taj hospitality.

The Veg and Non Veg platter was good, and we enjoyed sitting for a while in the restaurant’s atmosphere. My friend and I come to Taj, MG road for special occasions, and the staff now recognize us and seem happy to see us. They’re friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Beauty and Ashmita took good care of us, paid attention to what we needed, and served things the way we asked. We left feeling refreshed and satisfied. It really felt like luxury at its best.

A thoughtful surprise for our younger one was a birthday setup with a small cake, decorations, and a sweet note. Our daughter loved it, and we did too. We had a peaceful room and slept very comfortably. The rooms and Seven Rivers restaurant were highlights, and the poolside seating worked nicely for evening snacks and drinks. We did wish dinner were available by the pool. The pool area is good for kids, though the crowd there can make adults feel a little uncomfortable. Saumya was attentive in the evenings, and Krishna from housekeeping quickly brought the extra towels and toiletries we asked for. Breakfast was good, but the restaurant staff seemed busy at times and could have been more attentive, even with simple things like clearing tables. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The gym was clean and well maintained, and the valet and gate staff were helpful and courteous. We had a great family stay at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru, and would recommend the property, especially for families. We look forward to coming back.

I checked in around 2 AM and was really impressed by the welcome at reception. I may have the name wrong, but I think it was “Satyaprakas.” I asked for something and he made a real effort to get it for me. Everyone else I’ve met so far has been amazing too, with service that’s been so good. I’m usually a Marriot guy, but Taj has really moved me. Thanks a lot.

Mr Bhavesh Kumar at the front desk made the stay very comfortable. The front office team were patient and attentive to details, which I appreciated. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. The rooms were decent in size, with roomy WC and shower cubicles, and there’s a good-sized swimming pool. There’s also authentic Chinese food and a brewery at the property. The spa is being renovated and should be ready soon. Thanks for everything.
