Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru

The staff were decent and the room size was fine, but the food was pretty meh. The pool didn’t have enough accessories for kids. Somehow this feels like a very “Untaj” kind of property, better suited to corporate lunches and dinners than a staycation.

I stayed six days on a business trip and this was my worst experience at a Taj property. I work US hours and sleep during the day, but even with a “Do Not Disturb” sign up, I kept getting calls and doorbell rings about housekeeping and other services. It was frustrating and showed little regard for my privacy. Breakfast service was very poor. Ordered items took at least 30 minutes, and sometimes my requests were ignored altogether. It often seemed staff gave priority to foreign guests. One staff member in a blue blazer and glasses forgot my order twice on two separate occasions, which came across as inattentive and unprofessional. Room service also fell short. The room was cleaned, but tea and coffee supplies were never replenished. I had to call repeatedly for refills, and even then the items didn’t arrive half the time. The stay didn’t meet the standards I expect from Taj. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves service for future guests.

The rooms and property are nice, and the location is decent. Breakfast was good, though the staff could be more courteous. A good place to stay in Bangalore for work or pleasure.

The location at Taj Yeshwantpur is just right, and the rooms were in impeccable shape and very comfortable. Attentive staff were always ready to help, with top-notch service throughout. I had a truly wonderful experience and highly recommend it.
