The Porch Inn Hotel & Service Apartments

For a work trip to Bangalore Bosch, this was a very comfortable place to stay. The location suited business travel, and the calm surroundings made it easy to relax after a busy day. My room was clean, well maintained, and had the amenities I needed. Staff were friendly, supportive, and responsive whenever I needed them. The food was good, though I’d have liked more variety or a menu with options for different preferences. I’d recommend it for business visits.

We checked out immediately after a miserable stay, traveling with our six-month-old baby. The room had no power, and it felt suffocating and claustrophobic. The staff didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation. A major problem was the door lock, an ultra-advanced key lock that began making a continuous, engine-like noise in the morning. Service staff tried to fix it without seeming to know how. There was also no coziness in the room, which was full of LED lights. The hotel has narrow passages and corridors, and the atmosphere felt suffocating. It’s on the main road, with noise through the day and night, including ambulance sirens that kept us from sleeping. We arrived from the railway station at 11 PM for a three-night booking, and check-in itself went well. Still, if you care about peace of mind, I’d avoid this hotel and not be swayed by reviews, which can sometimes be manipulative. Maybe others had great stays, and maybe we arrived with high expectations, but our experience was genuine, even if this trouble was unique to us. I hope someone takes note.

Abu at the front desk was especially kind and dedicated, and the whole staff were polite and easy to reach. We really enjoyed our two days here. It was a truly lovely stay. ❤️

The quiet spot near Lalbagh and NIMHANS was convenient for our stay of about 15 days. My wife and I found the staff polite, respectful, and ready to help throughout. From the first call to checkout, service stayed professional and consistently good. Billing was clearly explained and shared, without any confusion. It felt trustworthy and worked well for a long stay. I’d recommend Hotel Porch Inn to couples and families too. Well deserved praise.
