I was charged more than the amount I'd booked for, and the receptionist's answer was basically, “That's how it is.” The rooms were poor quality, smelled damp, and hadn't been maintained. The shower knob was broken, and it hadn't been cleaned in days. They didn't provide any amenities unless I asked for a towel, soap, and water. When I arrived, they wouldn't accept my Goibibo or OYO booking. The receptionist just said it wasn't valid and went back to his own work without trying to help. A very poor experience, and I wouldn't recommend spending even one night here.

The rooms were nice, though they should make daily room cleaning mandatory. Since I'm new to Bangalore, I ended up paying the higher rate they insisted on and stayed. If this had been sorted out clearly before booking, the trip would've gone more smoothly. I booked through Agoda and got confirmation. I called because of the long journey, and they confirmed the booking and availability, saying I could pay when I arrived. But at the hotel, they said they couldn't take the booking because it had been made through OYO and they'd stopped that service. The Agoda price was different, and they asked me to book directly at a costlier rate. It left me completely disappointed.

The rooms are roomy, but old enough to need serious attention. The bathrooms were decent, though there were leaking taps and other mess, and there was no fire safety equipment in the rooms. The reception looks great, which sets you up to be disappointed by the rooms. It's run by OYO Chris Hotel. Check-in is at 12 pm and checkout at 11 am. It's also a little hard to locate. There's no signboard or directions, so follow the route and ask the security guard at the gate.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were accommodating. It's very affordable. Breakfast was only so-so, though, and most of our group stuck with omelette and bread with jam to avoid the other options. The pool also needs cleaning, with moss building up.

Room service was good, but there's basically nothing available. No TV connection and no hot water, which made for a horrible experience. They also said to cancel if I'd paid through OYO. Better pick a good place.
