This was my second visit to the resort. The staff behaved well and the food was good, but the pool was very dirty and clearly not maintained. We told the management while we were there, and it still wasn’t taken care of.

We booked the whole villa for 15 people at ₹25,000, without meals, but only six of us slept there overnight. The final bill came to ₹30,000 plus GST, and they also charged us for a water bottle. They added ₹500 plus GST for each “extra person,” including friends who only came to party for a few hours and didn’t stay overnight. Even after we explained this, they insisted on charging for five more people who had left. GST was charged upfront before we used any services. The owner and helpers were impolite and unprofessional, and staff kept chasing us for money instead of being clear and guest-friendly. It made the whole stay stressful and spoiled what should’ve been a fun getaway. Not worth the hassle, with hidden charges, rude behavior, and no hospitality.

The only activity we enjoyed was the zip line. There wasn’t much else to do: the pool was dirty, nobody was available to help with kayaking, and the dirt bikes had no safety guards. If you slipped, you could end up with serious scrapes on your elbows and knees. The property also wasn’t well maintained. The vegetarian food was poor. Breakfast was idily, chutney, bonda, flavoured rice, and bread. The idily wasn’t fluffy, the bonda was too oily, I didn’t want to try the rice, and the bread was unusually small and very local. Lunch was another buffet and wasn’t good either. Getting there was a task. There were no signboards, and the map directed us left even though the resort was on the right, marked by a small name board at the main gate. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience.

We had our yearly picnic at ‘Urban Valley Resort’ on Kanakpura Main Road today, Sunday, January 11, 2026, organized by the ‘Bengaluru Sylheti Cultural Association’ (BSCA). It’s a promising place for a picnic, with a spacious setup, open field, and lush green surroundings where children and adults can enjoy themselves. There’s a lake with a cool view from the shore, plus a swimming pool. It’s quite a drive from the gate to the picnic spot. My partner and I enjoyed our time there and can imagine coming back soon. Cheers!

The resort looks basic and isn’t well maintained, and management handled things poorly. We came as a group of 59, including children, but they billed us for 64. Staff behaved badly toward us and even toward our kids. We shared a group photo and a list of everyone, but management still refused to refund the extra amount. A very bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend visiting if you want a hassle-free outing.
