Late-night food during Ramadan was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The service and staff were consistently supportive, especially Safiqul, Razik, Sahil and Kiran, who made us feel very well looked after. After so many office visits, this hotel has become my favourite place to stay.

The room was unbearable from the moment we got in. The whole place smelled of drains, including the washroom, and the smell spread through the room. I even used up my perfume trying to cover it. The washroom door wouldn't shut, the wood was swollen from moisture, and there was hardly any upkeep. Most of the plug points were jammed, with just one working to charge a phone, laptop, or anything else. We had booked at around 11pm after a long trip, because it was listed as a 3 star hotel and cost over 5k. At that hour I booked without thinking much, and regretted it. They said room service ran 24 hours, but the food I ordered at 11:30pm didn't arrive until 1am. I know staffing may be limited late at night, but they should have told us the likely wait before accepting the order. Breakfast was just as bad. I think a local street vendor would have made better dosa and roti. I only went because breakfast was included, and at 10am there seemed to be hardly anyone working. One helper was taking live orders, serving, cleaning, and doing everything else. The night turned into a nightmare. If I could, I'd rate this minus 5, it doesn't deserve even one star. Who knows what fake reviews they're keeping up to stay at the top.

For a layover or short transit, the location near the airport makes Grand Continent Bangalore really convenient. The stay itself was comfortable, and the staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. Booking online is much cheaper than paying the walk-in rate, so it feels like good value. A smooth, hassle-free place to stay near the airport. I'd recommend it for transit.

The breakfast spread stood out, and the in-house restaurant served surprisingly good food. Getting to the terminal took us under 15 minutes, which made the hotel's proximity to Bangalore Airport a real plus. We also found plenty of parking behind the hotel, and felt our vehicle was secure there. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful, and made us feel at home.
