The grounds are the best part, green, spacious, lively, and full of things going on. Outside areas were clean and well maintained, though the rooms were only okay for cleanliness. The rooms also felt small for the price, with poor ventilation and a noticeable smell. Service was a letdown. Towels arrived late, room service was slow, and staff responsiveness needs a lot of improvement. The food tasted good, but the service got in the way: buffet refills took around 20 minutes, and items were often missing. It’s overpriced too, with extra charges that didn’t feel justified. Hawthorn by Wyndham gets a 9/10 for the property, 7/10 for cleanliness, 5/10 for rooms, 6/10 for food, and 2/10 for service. My overall rating is 6/10. It’s hard to recommend until the service improves.

The vegetarian breakfast buffet had a delicious spread with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Less than a 10-minute drive from Dwarkadish temple, the resort was easy to reach. My stay was a real delight. The rooms were clean, roomy, and well maintained, with thoughtful design and lots of greenery. I’d highly recommend the resort and will definitely come back.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of tasty options. I especially liked the dosas Mr. Balu made, they were crisp and full of flavor. The hotel is clean and beautiful, and the rooms and facilities were well maintained, making the visit comfortable. Staff were courteous, quick to help, and always welcoming. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area and will be back.

We stayed two nights at this Wyndham property. After a long, tiring trip I arrived feeling frazzled, but the staff handled check-in with such warmth and patience that I settled in quickly. There were several large groups at the hotel, yet we still felt looked after as a couple. We ate many meals there, and the food was a highlight. The choice for both Jains and regular vegetarians was impressive, and every dish was delicious. Sumita and Aadil were especially attentive and made our meals pleasant. The hotel is about 7 km from the main temple. We had a private cab, so the distance wasn’t an issue for us. If you arrive by train or depend on autos, I’d save the numbers of several drivers so you can compare fares. The stretch between the temple and hotel is fairly isolated, and it can be hard to find an auto right outside.
