The noise went on from 10:00 PM until 3:00 AM on January 17. The owner or family members were having a party with loud music and shouting, and staff did nothing even after I complained several times. I had booked Hotel “Uberoi Anand” for Saturday, January 17, because I had an exam on Sunday and needed somewhere to rest and prepare. Staying there turned into a complete nightmare. I’d rather spend the night on the road or at a railway station than return.

The hotel is right in the middle of the market, which is convenient, but traffic runs from 8 AM until 9 PM. The rooms are okay; the restrooms are awful. Service is the worst. The kitchen is supposed to stay open until 11:30 PM according to the menu, but it closes around 9 or 9:30.

The location is the only thing going for it. The owners don't seem interested in the hotel, and there hasn't been any innovation or renovation for many years. Everything else is going downhill. I'll look at other options next time.

The food was delicious, and the staff were courteous and respectful. The hotel has an antique feel that still comes across as cozy. It's near the Old bus stand and Railway junction, so getting there from either is easy. Since it's in the middle of a market, reaching it in the evening can be a bit of a hassle, though there's parking on site if you're driving. The ambience is good. Recommended!
