Hotel Ramkrishna Executive

For a small town, it’s a good hotel, though there aren’t many facilities to expect. The rooftop restaurant serves a limited breakfast menu. Room sizes vary: the super deluxe room was larger and had a clean toilet, while the deluxe room was intended for two, so bringing a child made things difficult. There’s only one lift for the whole building, and it stops at a mid-ground level, which means older guests and people with physical challenges have to manage stairs to reach it. Waiting for the lift is common. The staff need training, and there should be enough of them.

The manager was rude and unprofessional, with no courtesy, willingness to help, or basic respect. For a hotel calling itself “Executive,” being asked to buy drinking water separately felt unacceptable. Room availability also seemed misleading: I asked for an Executive Room after checking in around 11:00 AM, and the manager said it had already been booked by phone, even though the hotel still appeared on online booking portals. The first room’s AC wasn’t cooling. They moved me, but the second AC made a continuous loud, odd noise all night, so sleeping was difficult. Poor maintenance and no hospitality. Definitely not recommended.

I booked a super Delux room for 2300/-, but there wasn’t a water bottle in the room. I had to buy one from the Restaurant. A weird experience.

The restaurant served great food, and the staff were very helpful. For Barshi, it’s a good hotel, close to the main road, with decent rooms and washrooms. I also liked the 24-hour checkout policy. Water isn’t complimentary, but it’s sold there at cost price. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t great either, and the tea ran out before they refilled it, which took a while.
