Hotel Ramaa Inn

Really bad service and a dirty room.

Room service was good, and everything else seemed fine. The food was average, and the portions didn’t match the price.

The room size was okay for what they charge, and the food was okay too, but I had a very bad experience here. I’d stayed twice before, then changed hotels partway through my trip. One night I woke to a room full of smoke, with visibility almost gone. Reception said casually that the kitchen exhaust sometimes pulls smoke in, and refused to move me. I had to call local police. They asked a staff member to stay in the room for 30 minutes, saying they wouldn’t ask me to change rooms if he felt comfortable. He soon realized how smoky it was. The staff were very unprofessional, and safety felt like an afterthought. I moved to Shankar palace next door, which was good, and I’d give that place four stars. My friends had recommended Ramada, but I’m done with it. Think twice.

My friend stayed four days last time and the bed and pillow covers weren’t changed, the room wasn’t cleaned or prepared, and loud work from 11 pm to 2 am disturbed people trying to sleep. He complained, but the room boy didn’t do anything. The owner should close the hotel for a while and learn what professionalism means. One waiter came to the room with his shirt untucked and both hands in his pants, yet the owner calls that professional. No grooming or hygiene, and no proper way to speak to a woman. The actual name is Ramaa inn, but the owner claims it is Ramada inn. People, don’t stay here. If you have a problem, the owner won’t come sort it out and will just defend himself in response to the review.
