OYO 26216 Hotel Maanvi

The cramped room and outdated amenities made for a disappointing stay, and the place didn't meet my expectations overall. The lift and water geyser weren't working, service left a lot to be desired, and cleanliness was an issue. I won't return.

We paid 700rupees for two people in a room. The location is central, the bed was comfortable, and the blankets were too. They had nice liquid soap and body lotion. The staff were very friendly and tried to help as much as they could. Check-in was at 12, but we arrived at 8 and they made an exception to let us in. When I saw a mouse in my assigned room, I asked to move and they changed it immediately. There were plenty of problems as well. You had to call each time for hot water, and even when they said they'd turned it on, it was only warm. We asked for hot water for tea and got warm water instead. The bathroom wasn't very clean, with stains left behind, and the toilet didn't flush properly. The WiFi didn't work, the window wouldn't close, and the floor had cracks.

Please don't book Oyo 26216 Hotel Maanvi. It's worse than any other hotel near New Delhi Station. There are bugs in all the beds, the linens are nasty, the bathrooms are untidy, and the staff are rude. The workers are cunning about the AC, switching it off from outside and giving excuses like there's no electricity, it'll be repaired, or it's filled with water. Imagine being left with no AC in the middle of the night and nobody to help. For even small things, you have to remind them four or five times, and often there's no one to help at all. The food quality is rubbish, and it's not worth even 500 bucks.

For 420 Rs for 24 hours, the Deluxe Non Ac room I booked through the Redbus App offer was worth the money. It's a 10-15 minute walk from New Delhi Railway station, though the surrounding area is always crowded and highly polluted. They have food options, laundry service, and WiFi, but I didn't try the food since I was hardly in the room. The service desk staff were courteous, despite making me wait 10-15 minutes before showing me the room. The bathroom was decently clean, with no issues. The TV stopped working properly after a while.
