The only real difficulty for us was that there was no dedicated place to wash infant feeding bottles, so we had to use the bathroom sink. A simple solution for families with infants would help. Everything else made for a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sankam Residency, Belgaum. It's easy to reach from the highway, which made arrival and departure smooth, especially with children. Our travel delays had us call ahead to make sure the booking wouldn't be cancelled, and the staff reassured us promptly and courteously. When we arrived quite late, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite. The extra space was a big help, and our three kids really enjoyed it. Room service was excellent and responsive, the premises were clean, well maintained, and welcoming, and the restaurant served delicious, mouth-watering food just as advertised. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning, with a great spread that was very satisfying. I look forward to staying at Sankam Residency again next time I pass through Belgaum.

The property has plenty of space for events, including indoor and outdoor venues, spacious halls, and beautiful lawns. There was enough room to manage multiple wedding functions smoothly, and the food served at them was good and well managed. We stayed for a friend's wedding, with all the functions happening right there, which made things really convenient and comfortable for guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was good, and the staff were accommodating throughout. Breakfast had good options and was genuinely nice. A pleasant stay and a great venue for weddings and celebrations.

Room and in-house facilities were 4/5, and food was 3/5. The toilet had water supply in the flush, but the washbasin was so low it gave me a very dirty feeling. Reception staff weren't friendly at all. I felt like I was standing in front of SBI Bank staff 😀, as if they were asking why I'd come there. After 10 PM, nobody picked up at reception or housekeeping. On the first day my food took 1 hous 15 min, but the next day it arrived in 10 min, as if it had been kept ready just for me. After paying 3000+ per night, you can only watch news and free-to-air channels, and not even all of them. Free WiFi is free in name only, as nobody helped with the user ID and password. Overall, 2.5/5.

The food was excellent, and breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety of fresh, tasty, well-prepared dishes and enjoyable service. The room was clean, comfortable, and in good condition, and the overall experience was pleasant. Still, the price felt higher than what was offered, and the room didn't fully justify what I paid. More reasonable pricing would have made the stay much better.

We stopped for 1 night to take a break from driving. The hotel is close to the NH48, with an Indian Oil Fuel station next door. There was ample car parking and a restaurant, and the food was good. Staff were attentive and friendly, and service was good. Rooms were clean and well maintained. They have a lawn and swimming pool too, though the pool wasn't clean during our stay.
