Shatavari Eco Resort

The view from our air-conditioned Ridge Cottage was spectacular, and the room itself was comfortable. The natural surroundings are lovely, but several things made the stay difficult, especially with our 5-year-old child. We hadn't been told before booking that the restaurant, pool, reception, and even the car park were so far from the cottage. They aren't walkable, particularly at night or with a child, and getting around was inconvenient. There were also no fire extinguishers in the room. With no mobile signal, and the landline not working during a power cut, we had no clear way to contact anyone in an emergency. When the power went out, the generator took a long time to start. Until then we had no phone, Wi-Fi, or way to call for help. The receptionist also said no staff were available after 11:00 pm, which felt unacceptable with families staying in cottages far from the main area. The food was below average and left us bloated. Lunch and dinner had nearly the same menu, with only one or two changes, and our request for ice was refused. The pool water was very dirty, and we had itchy skin after swimming, which made us feel it wasn't being maintained well. The views and nature are beautiful, but the stay didn't feel worth it. Basic safety, communication, hygiene, guest support, food, and clear information before booking all need significant improvement, especially for families with children.

The staff were so polite and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Shatavari Resort is beautifully set in nature, and the food had a delicious, homely taste. I also enjoyed the fun, well-organized activities. It was a really relaxing stay, and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.

The people here made our stay comfortable, from Abhiraj handling the booking to Aditya the driver, and the reception, cooks, gardeners, kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams. Every staff member was humble, welcoming, and smiling, and the service was top notch. The resort is spread through the jungle and, as its name suggests, everything is eco friendly. We loved the bullock cart and horse cart rides. Our room had a lovely mountain and jungle view, and the cave cottages have a warm, unique feel. The pool is breathtaking, too. Food was homely and super delicious, especially breakfast. We'd definitely visit again.

The trek was a great experience, and the view from the property is so good. We celebrated a birthday here, and the open space was convenient and well maintained. The bullock cart rides added a special traditional touch, and every meal was exceptionally yum. Shatavari Resort has magical fairytale vibes. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for families and celebrations.
