Kadamb Kunj Resort - Bharatpur

We stayed for two nights, on 25 and 26 January 2026, and really enjoyed it. The rooftop high tea, recreation facilities, and amazing buffet were all highlights. Mr Rajesh and Mr Rajendra at reception were very supportive, checking in with everyone during our stay and helping with even small issues. They provided everything we asked for. It's a beautiful, well maintained property in a perfect location. The rooms are spacious, though some doors and old furniture need attention. I'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting Bharatpur.

The restaurant food was good, service there was good too, and prices were reasonable. The location is very handy for the Bird Sanctuary. The room was a different story: wires hung from the wall, most sockets didn't work, and neither did the fridge. The bathroom was adequate and had hot water, but there was no heating. The portable heater they gave me wasn't enough. The hotel feels worn and needs repairs, so don't be taken in by the website photos.

The service was a bit slow, and the intercom wasn't working, but the stay was still good value. The resort covers acres of green landscape near Keoladeo National Park, making it a good spot for a week away with family or friends. Kids have plenty of room to play in the big gardens, with swings too. In winter they arrange bonfires, and there's also a pool with cots around it for lounging. The reception is huge, decorated with Rajasthani artifacts and furniture. Rooms are an okay size and well maintained. Food was tasty, with an elaborate breakfast buffet and good dinner options, both veg and non veg. They also offer free high tea with biscuits and namkeen.

For five days at Kadamb Kunj Resort, I found it peaceful and close to nature, a relaxing setting. My room was clean, the staff were cooperative, and the food tasted good. It was a comfortable, enjoyable stay. Highly recommend 👍
