Mermaid Resort Kelambakkam

The room was kept neat, and housekeeping was quick and efficient. Sajal Debarma and Saroj Das were especially good. Mr. Rajesh, the Resort's GM, was courteous and helpful throughout our stay, and Meera at the Reception was amazing. The Resort is spacious and quiet, with a serene view. The food was excellent, though service took a little longer than expected. We had a wonderful experience.

The meals were a real highlight. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, and the serving staff were helpful and courteous. Mira at reception also made check-in and the transactions easy. There were games for kids and adults, and the cycling was great for families and children. Our hut was cosy and tidy, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, with good running water and thoughtful amenities. We liked the garden views, clean pools, and all the greenery. A couple of things could be better. The tea and coffee, priced at ₹60-70, tasted diluted, with very little milk or tea or coffee strength. Restaurant information also needs to be more consistent. Reception told us breakfast started at 7:30 am, but at the restaurant we were asked to wait until 8:00 am. A warmer approach from restaurant management, even just a greeting or smile, would make guests feel more welcome. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. Better coordination and improved tea and coffee would make the experience even better.

Breakfast was especially good, fresh and well prepared, and the food overall was tasty, satisfying, and nominally priced. The restaurant was well organized, too. We enjoyed the clean, well kept pool, spacious and comfortable rooms, and the calm lawn in the evenings. Satheesh made booking smooth by being responsive, helpful, and clear in coordinating things. At check-in, Mira at the front desk welcomed us warmly and handled our room allocation efficiently. Our room caretaker was attentive and quick to bring toiletries, and kept the room in good shape throughout. We had a memorable, relaxing stay at Mermaid Resorts. Thanks to the whole team for the hospitality. We’d love to come back.

The location, well kept facilities, and especially attractive pricing make this property stand out. We arranged a day out for our office colleagues, and the staff looked after the whole event from our first contact until it ended. The serene atmosphere, excellent facilities, delicious food, and great service made it memorable for everyone. Shaju and Sebastian took especially good care of us throughout. I’d readily recommend the property for a stay or leisure.
