Dinner at Royal Chariot turned out well, though our plans hit a snag first. I had booked a table and checked that buffet dinner was available every day, but on arrival they said it had been discontinued long ago. The F&B Manager explained that they only serve brunch on Sundays. We nearly left, then chose from the ala carte menu instead. The oriental and non veg platters, Singapore Noodles, Veg Fried Rice, Buddha Vegetables, Chicken Fried Rice, and Phad Thai were all very well made, though each portion seemed enough for only two people for the price. Service was good, too. The hotel has plenty of parking, and its interior lighting and chandeliers look amazing. I'd been keen to visit because of the exterior lights in the evening. We stopped in for dinner with friends during a recent trip from Silvassa, and left satisfied after the initial confusion.

The room didn't cool enough, and there was no cooling at all in the main lobby. A thoroughly bad experience. I couldn't see anything that felt like a 4 Star category hotel.

Nice restaurant, tasty food, and good ambience, though it is a little expensive. The rooms are spacious, too.

Our Deluxe room, 2008, smelled really bad. When we told the staff while checking out, one of them said housekeeping hadn't done a survey before we entered. A terrible experience at golden tulip.
