OYO 22086 Hotel Park View

I've been coming to Park View regularly for three years, and it has become my second home. The owner is friendly, kind and humble, while the manager is great with customers and at handling the staff. The stewards are attentive, and the service feels five-star. Food, drinks, rooms and service have all been way beyond what I'd expect. There are large, spacious rooms from the second floor up, at inexpensive rates. Prices for liquor, food and beverages are also low compared with many other places. They keep the whole place very hygienic, and it's a great spot for celebrating birthdays. The layout is handy too: on the ground floor there's a separate non-AC smoking section, an AC smoking section beside it, and an AC non-smoking area between them. Upstairs, the first floor has an AC family section that's non-smoking, plus a separate place to smoke. The crowd is familiar since so many people are regulars. Once someone visits Park View, they won't find many other places as tempting.

This was my second visit, and I came hoping they'd improved their standards. I checked out today disappointed. The restaurant service was pathetic: staff didn't listen the first time and only brought the order after I asked repeatedly. Spend a little more and go to 711 nearby.

While I was eating and drinking with friends, they turned off the lights. There were lots of mosquitoes, and I got sick. When I asked them to turn the lights back on so we could eat, they were rude and ignored us. The hotel has no basic customer service manners, and the way they spoke to us was awful. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family, and I wanted to file a complaint, though I doubt it would work because they have more power and money.

Good food, a good place and good staff.
