Ashoka Residency Hotel

The atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were cooperative. Service was good and on time, and I liked the food. The room was good, though only the Meera Suite was provided and the other room wasn’t upgraded. A cool place to stay.

Bhilwara was new to me, and I had a great stay. The room was clean, the staff were good, and the food was awesome.

The room was in terrible shape: dirty sheets, peeling ceiling paint, damaged outlets that couldn’t be used, and a broken bathroom exhaust fan that left it humid and stuffy. At night, we saw a mouse running through the bathroom, with droppings scattered around. I’ve never had a worse hotel stay. The lack of basic hygiene is inexcusable, and this felt like a health hazard and a complete rip-off. A hotel should offer rest, not vermin, so I’d tell anyone considering it to stay elsewhere and avoid the stress and disgust.

The location is good, but nearly everything else was far below standard. The rooms and suites weren’t maintained, service was poor, and staff behaved badly. We paid extra to move from a problem room to a suite, but the TV still didn’t work. Someone came to try it once, only to show that the subscription had expired, then recharged it for a limited time, possibly based on the booking. The AC rattled and leaked water, and the fridge switched off when we left the room, spoiling food and fruit. They advertise buffet breakfast, but most of the time it wasn’t available, and not even one fruit was served. The manager promised fruit the next day, but there was neither fruit nor a buffet. They didn’t keep their word. They claim to offer free parking, though it’s just on the public road. The deep discounts on travel sites seemed to come with matching service and treatment. I’m deeply disappointed and won’t book here again.
