Baagh Villas

The Arks Baagh Villa has a peaceful setting, clean rooms, and very courteous staff. We had a great experience and found it a lovely place to relax near Jim Corbett. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at The Arks Baagh Villa. The rooms are spacious, the food is tasty, and the hospitality is excellent. With a peaceful atmosphere, it’s a lovely place to enjoy nature and unwind with family or friends.

The cottages are really nice, and the location on the main road is very good. We stayed two nights with family and had trouble getting ordinary drinking water on the second night. When I asked, the staff member said they only had mineral water. I explained I wanted regular drinking water, and after insisting, he brought one bottle. Our group had booked the entire resort, but that same night I saw a few people drinking in the park, playing loud music, and talking loudly. It felt unsafe and wasn’t suitable for the families staying there. We were attending a wedding nearby, but my family didn’t feel safe, so I stayed with them. Management needs to train staff better and make sure guests’ safety and well-being are looked after. It’s a beautiful resort, but this experience spoiled it for us.

I expected a family hotel that was friendly for children, but this turned out to be like the other cheap hotels known for couples. The staff were very unprofessional, and an online booking didn’t guarantee we’d have a room. When we arrived, we were told the cottages were being auctioned and would go to whoever paid the most. That’s awful for people who have travelled all the way to the property. The worst hotel experience I’ve had to date. Places like this should be blacklisted from all online booking websites.
