Collection O Udit Plaza

Check-in through the OYO app was super smooth at Collection O Hotel Udit Plaza. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional, and the room had fresh linen, a clean bathroom, and fast WiFi. One of the best OYO hotels in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and a good fit for solo travelers or business visitors.

This is a very low-quality hotel. My room was 201, and there was no hot water. I had a meeting, but ended up waiting 1 to 1.5 hours. They told me to bathe with half a bucket because no more hot water was available. Terrible experience.

My stay was pathetic from arrival through checkout. The receptionist and other staff were uncouth, and the receptionist asked me for extra money. They first put me in a broken, unclean room with a broken AC. After I complained to AGODA, they moved me to another room that was less bad, but not much improved. The AC still didn't work, and the bed and blankets were dirty.

We had nowhere to go at midnight in an unfamiliar city with our 2 small kids, so we stayed in an unhygienic, shabby room despite worrying about the risk to my family's health. I had booked a triple occupancy room through Oyo Collection O, MP Nagar, booking ID Z90G2710, because I was traveling with my family. We arrived around 9:45 PM, but the lifts weren't working and the small room they gave us had only a queen size bed, with no space for an extra mattress. It clearly wasn't what we booked, and staff said no suitable room was available. After nearly an hour on the phone with customer care, the executive offered another property, Hotel Udit Plaza, saying it had rooms that fit our needs. I asked for the hotel's link or information, but he kept insisting on a transfer before sharing details. We got them almost an hour later. At Hotel Udit Plaza, they made us pay the balance before check-in. After that, we were given a dirty room with filthy walls and washroom, plus obscene drawings on the walls. I contacted customer care again, complained about Oyo's poor service, and emailed pictures. The only response was that we could check out and get 20% of our payment refunded. Oyo showed fake room pictures and took no responsibility for its customers. I won't book an Oyo room again or recommend one. I hope this reaches Oyo's management team, especially Ritesh Agarwal.
