We spent three amazing nights at Fort Villa. The rooftop breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, and Deepak made it himself. He was also such a friendly, helpful host, with great tips for food, shops, and sights. Our royal room with a balcony was lovely, and the hotel was beautiful, clean, and quiet. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Our one night here went by too fast. We showed up earlier than expected and they let us into our room ahead of time, plus gave us breakfast for free. The place was clean and beautiful, with a homely feel. The staff were attentive and quick to respond, and the rooftop has lovely views over Jaisalmer. Highly recommend.

The terrace and room had wonderful views, and I had such a lovely experience here. For me, this is one of the best palaces I've visited in India, and my favourite place in all of Rajasthan 🙌 I felt safe and comfortable in the family hotel's atmosphere. A big thank you to the owner for being so kind and helpful, and for the professionalism, respect, and care shown for guests' personal space 🧘🏼

The smell was a big problem for me. Every room and bathroom had a strong lemon fragrance that was really uncomfortable, and since the windows don't open, there was no way to clear it out. We booked three rooms for three nights. Two had the carved stone decor in Jaisalmer style, as shown in the photos, but the top-floor room was new and unfinished. Charging the same as for those gorgeous carved rooms didn't feel right, and they should have discounted it. Next time, we'd stay outside the fort. Going in and out through all the tourists is an added hassle, and one visit to the fort is enough for us.

Manish picked me up at the station when I arrived alone on a late-night train, so I wouldn't feel lost or unsafe. As a solo female traveller, that meant everything to me. The location inside Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is unbelievable. It's quiet at night, felt very safe, and everything was walkable, including cafes, shops, viewpoints, and attractions. The Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable. Fort Villa had such a peaceful feel. The home smelled of lemongrass, and I loved the crystals and all the lovely details. Manish and Deepak were kind and supportive while giving me space. The rooftop breakfast and panoramic sunset views were a dream. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with air conditioning and thoughtful touches: a comfortable bed, 100% cotton linens, plush towels, drinking water, and quality toiletries. I can't recommend Fort Villa enough for safety, comfort, cleanliness, strong Wi-Fi, walkability, and genuine hospitality.
