Kwality's Motel Shiraz

The breakfast was tasty and healthy, and Laxmikantji was especially nice. The lawns are lovely too. My room was neat and clean, and room service responded right away whenever I called. For the price, it felt like a bargain. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, but my time at Shiraz was the best. Wonderful experience!!!!!

The hotel’s response says my booking was for extra guests, but that is false. My Agoda documents and timestamped receipts show that I selected and paid for four guests in advance. This management was not only rude but dishonest. I was already shaken by what happened during my stay at Hotel Quality, Bhopal. A misunderstanding between Agoda and the hotel led the manager to deliberately cut the power to my room, leaving me in the dark and effectively pushing me out, even though I had prepaid. They also refused me breakfast, and none of the staff showed basic courtesy. Agoda later admitted its mistake and compensated me, yet the manager stayed aggressive, called me, and threatened to report me to my organization. In all my years of travel, I haven’t had a more distressing or disgraceful experience. This was hostile, unprofessional, and nowhere near a basic standard of hospitality. No paying guest should be treated this way. I’d strongly advise fellow travelers to think carefully before booking, especially if safety, respect, and professionalism matter to you.

We were still eating when the waiter asked three or four times if we wanted the bill. Then we found an item on it that hadn’t been served. He refused to take it off, saying it couldn’t be canceled after being added, so we had to pay for it. Really disappointing service and a horrible visit. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

There’s a warm feel to this place, with greenery around it, and it’s a motel with a 50-year history. The location was the main reason I booked, since it was close to where I needed to be in the city. I also enjoyed the food enough to put it near the top of my Bhopal stay list. The staff were courteous and well mannered. Good vibe, good time, great stay. I’d recommend it.
