Mango Retreat Hotel and Resort

I tried the cottage too, with lots of mango trees around, and felt so relaxed. I even went swimming for the first time in my life, which felt awesome. The food was delicious and mouthwatering. Thanks, mango team.

I didn’t end up staying at the resort, fortunately. I called their listed number to speak with the manager about an employee’s extremely rude, arrogant behavior. Later I found out I’d actually spoken to the owner, whose manner was just as dismissive, arrogant, and unprofessional. It’s surprising and deeply disappointing to see a place run like this. If the owner acts that way, what can guests expect from the staff in hospitality? I really wonder how they plan to serve people with that attitude. Absolutely not recommended.

The lawns were well kept and the swimming pool was good, but I had a rough stay with my son for 4 nights. We were the only guests there all four nights. We chose it because it was near Sagar institute for college activities. The room and location were okay, but the bed cushion was horrible. The chef wasn’t available until 9, so there was no tea or breakfast before we left at 8 am. He didn’t seem to know how to cook, and the food was very poor despite being priced like a 4-5 star restaurant. Hot water was boiling, so we had to fill a bucket before bed for our morning bath. On the fourth morning, a bat flew out of the room after apparently sleeping in a corner. I couldn’t tell where it came from or how long it had been there. Overall, a place for couple pleasure.

I went to a wedding at Mango Retreat and found it an easy place to reach from the main city, with plenty of parking. The natural setting is lovely, with mango trees, floral décor, and soft lighting, and the garden is spacious, landscaped, and well maintained. The lawn works well for a large gathering, with indoor halls as a backup if the weather changes. The rooms were clean and cozy for guests staying overnight, and the changing rooms and restrooms were clean too. Seating was elegant. Food was delicious, with a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, and the courteous, professional staff kept things running smoothly from start to finish. A great setting for a wedding, reception, or other celebration, combining nature with modern amenities.
