OYO Flagship 22655 Hotel Midtown

A third-rate stay. The rooms were confusing, there was no cleaning, and the staff were no help. 😐

The room and bathroom were in terrible condition, with mosquitoes everywhere and very unhygienic sheets, towels, and blankets. At night there was a spooky sound, too. Staff weren’t cooperative. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They’ve brought Oyo into disrepute.

Check-in and checkout were hassle-free, and the electricity was regular, which is why I’m giving two stars. Otherwise the room was dirty, smelled bad, and had sheets that weren’t changed daily. The toilet was dirty and its seat was broken. The front door wouldn’t close properly, and there was no ventilation. I didn’t feel safe there with my family, so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. There’s no restaurant either, so you have to rely on Swiggy or Zomato. The owner kept looking at my phone and telling me to give a five-star rating.

The room service was quite good. I asked for breakfast 30 minutes after tea, and they actually knocked exactly 30 minutes later with it. The place may look like a lodge, but it has the facilities a hotel can offer. The location is decent, near New market, with Sair sapata, Van vihar, and boat club 4-5kms away. It costs 10rupees to get from there to those places. Overall, a decent hotel at a cheap rate.
