FabHotel SK Palace

The hotel is in a good spot, within walking distance of db city Mall and mp nagar square, and the rooms are spacious. The food was really bad, though, and service was very slow. We ordered a vegetable sandwich and got one that was half-cooked on one side and stuffed with potatoes. It honestly made me wary of their food. Don't order anything.

Room service was good, and the desk is open 24/7. The rooms are neat, clean, and large, with great interiors and lighting that feels romantic. Room facilities are great, and the food is reasonably priced and good quality. I had a very good lunch here. The location is good too. Local couples aren't allowed, but others are welcome. Staff were average. Great experience, love it.😊 Overall 7/10.

The room wasn't cleaned properly, there were lots of mosquitoes, and the mattress was dirty. I asked for it to be changed, but it wasn't. After checkout, I didn't receive a checkout message from oyo until I contacted them. I had never faced this kind of trouble in a low-budget hotel, even as an international traveler. Experiences like this hurt the oyo brand and cause problems for guests. I arrived around 6:15 AM and asked for early check-in, but Mr.dasrath, the front desk manager, said he couldn't check me in then and told me to sit outside until after 7 AM. I explained I had a meeting and needed to leave early. Fifteen minutes later he agreed, but asked for 400 INR as the early check-in charge. I refused and contacted the oyo manger in the evening, who said I needed to pay 375 INR. He also said oyo would not accept any prepaid bookings. I'll attach a video for your review, and they had also written this on white paper near the desk. The hotel doesn't match what is shown online.

The property may look well maintained, but I can't recommend booking here. The person at reception or the owner refused to check me in even though I was alone. He wanted the money that Oyo and MMT apps had given me as a discount, and made me stand for an hour while using me as a go-between in his dispute with Oyo and MMT. In the end, I had to settle for another hotel that was below average. Think twice, even three times, before booking.
