Being close to the airport is handy, but the noise made it hard to sleep. There’s an open wedding hall nearby, and the rooms don’t block sound, so I could even hear someone in the next room watching reels. The location is poor for a peaceful stay, and the staff seemed only a little professional. The rest of the hotel experience was okay.

Ms. Mamata made a big difference to my stay. Even when the hotel was full, she found me a room each time I asked to extend. She was patient, dedicated, and very professional, and without her things would have been much more complicated. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, the restaurant was very good for trying Indian food, and the staff were pleasant, capable, and helpful.

Mr. Ajay Pradhan deserves special mention for his warm, professional hospitality. I keep coming to Fortune Shishmo Hotel in Bhubaneswar for weekend cheat meals and have enjoyed it each time. The food is made the way I ask, and the staff are consistently welcoming, polite, attentive, and reassuring. I’m looking forward to another visit.

We appreciated how convenient Fortune’s location was. The room was the letdown: despite paying a premium, we didn’t get a balcony room. It felt closed in and uncomfortable, and for the price we expected somewhere more open and pleasant.

Fortune Park Sishmo’s staff were courteous and attentive all evening, and the restaurant had an elegant, peaceful feel that suited dinner and conversation. ACC had invited us, which made the evening special. The food stood out too: hot starters with a good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, then Indian and continental mains. The curries, soft breads, and aromatic rice had their own flavors, with a nice balance of spice and texture. There was plenty to choose from at dessert, including Indian sweets, mousses, and pastries, all carefully made. A memorable dinner with lovely hospitality.
