The room was dirty, the hotel wasn't clean, and the sheets hadn't been washed. Cockroaches came out of the sink drains and were all over the hall and bathroom. The room and hall walls were extremely dirty, and the whole room smelled of gutka and cigarette smoke. They gave us water bottles with broken seals, and they looked used, as if they were collecting and reusing them. This room isn't worth ₹100. Don't book it, even if it's free.
The rooms were unclean and the service was poor. The owner was rude too, and seemed to have a very fragile male ego. I gave it one star only because there wasn't a lower rating. Be careful 😂
Hotel Baba Laxmi worked well for a one-night visit near Bhubaneswar Railway Station. I booked it for a friend in town for an exam, and the budget price was what first drew me in. The rooms were surprisingly clean and tidy, easily as clean as a more premium place. It's right on the main road and only a short walk from the station, so getting a train or finding local transport is convenient. For a short, affordable stay near the railway station, it's worth considering.
A budget-friendly stay in a handy spot near the railway station, with good transport connections. The staff were good. The hotel itself was average, though, and the AC units were a bit old and noisy.
