The staff were cooperative, and I had a nice experience. It felt safe for women travelers, and the hotel is close to kiit campus. Their restaurant was good too. Try the authentic odia thali.

The location was the only good part of this stay. I paid over ₹12,000, and in my opinion it was very poor service and awful value. They took the full payment at check-in, which meant I couldn't cancel. At checkout they called to ask when I'd leave. I said 4 because my flight was delayed, but they told me I had to check out by 3 or they'd charge another day's rate. I left at 3, and then they still asked for 400 rupees, saying I was four hours late, without having properly informed me of this charge. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and communication in Hindi and English was poor. They handled basic problems badly, including there being no water in the washroom. The bed was very hard, the food was bad, WiFi didn't work, and there were network problems in the room. The room kept smelling of cigarettes, and cleanliness was terrible, with ants and cockroaches on the bed. They changed the bedsheets just once in ten days, after I complained repeatedly. The room wasn't cleaned despite multiple requests, and we had to ask for water bottles each day. Sometimes staff refused, saying water wasn't included, even though it should have been. This was the worst hotel stay ever, and it couldn't have been worse in my opinion.
I misplaced my gold key ring somewhere on the Hotel Space Setter premises, and the management promptly helped return it. I really appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and helpful attitude.
We had to follow up repeatedly and spend a full 30 minutes at reception before getting our room. The room's main door had a faulty latch, as did the bathroom door. There was no water provided at night or in the morning, and despite asking for my family, we weren't given any extra towels. The geyser was small, so don't expect hot water to run continuously.
The staff's behaviour and service were very good. Tea costs much more than it does at the nearby market. I'd recommend staying here to gentlemen.
