The room was dirty and smelled awful, including the bathroom. The bed was dirty too, and the pillow cover smelled. They changed the pillow cover after I asked, but left the bedsheet as it was. We had things to do outside and were gone for much of the stay, so I didn’t push them again. The room also looked like a single room, although we’d booked a double bed couple room. Getting checked in was a whole ordeal. I’d booked through OYO, but they first refused to let us in. Nobody helped, and after a long discussion with OYO and the hotel staff, they let us check in an hour later. The way they spoke to us was rude, and the lack of hospitality was clear. When the manager said, “see you soon” at checkout, I just laughed to myself. I wouldn’t recommend this place for couples, though it might suit a single person. Thanks to OYO for the 500 refund for the hassle, but they should take action and work with the hotel to improve how guests are treated.

It used to be the owner’s home and has since become an OYO-affiliated homestay. The service was friendly and good, and the room was very clean. It’s a decent place to stay, though it could be maintained better.

A group of four friends and I had the same experience. I had to check out at 11 pm, and even after we complained to OYO, they still hadn’t blacklisted the property. I’d advise against checking in as a couple here, since you could end up leaving and losing your money after being harassed. The hotel allegedly has someone who alerts the police when an unmarried couple checks in. The receptionist then calls and tries to scare guests with talk of a police raid and harassment, telling them to leave. Couples get worried and check out, and the hotel keeps the room payment without a refund. That’s what happened to us. It’s the worst place I’ve stayed as a couple.

I’ve never seen a worse OYO hotel. The bathroom stank, and the room, bedsheet, and blanket were dirty. Even after I asked them to clean the bathroom, it still wasn’t cleaned. There were spider webs all over the room, the Aquagaurd wasn’t working, and the staff member behaved badly. He took my phone and gave the hotel five stars himself.
