OYO 43422 Bijaya Palace

The only good thing was the food. The room was very dirty, and the bedsheets and pillow covers didn't look properly washed. We noticed several suspicious things that made us think there could be spy cameras in the rooms. Anyone planning to spend time there, be careful.

After leaving my phone at the hotel and checking out, I got a call from the staff. They told me about it and returned it, which I appreciated. I booked a room to freshen up after landing at BBI airport, before continuing my journey to keonjhar, and found the staff honest and hospitable. Rooms costing ₹1000/- to ₹1500/- are good. There's no private parking, so it won't suit you if you're driving your own car. It's a low-cost OYO in a private residential area, surrounded by private buildings and not far from the main road. People may suggest avoiding a stay with family, but it didn't seem that unsafe to me.

I got to the hotel at 10pm yesterday after a long journey and a hectic schedule, only to be told they had no AC room, despite my booking one through OYO. They said I could make do with a non-AC room. When I refused, they told me to cancel the booking and leave. Hearing that at 11pm was ridiculous. Both the hotel and OYO were terrible. If there were a rating below one star, I'd give it.

The sheets were stained and the staff behaved badly, so it was a horrible stay. Its interior location might make it a suitable OYO for couples, though.
